I know that it is not Bt's fault that I have an extension, what I do believe is that currently there is nothing in my deeds, agreed with any previous owners to allow Bt to have a line over the land either in the form of rent or a one off payment. Something for consideration in the future as I’ve said but I can’t see either SFP or wires-only being a thing unless plugging the fibre into an Openreach approved router that they are able to provision. A wayleave is permission from the landlord, or land owner, to access their building or private land to install or repair network and equipment.
