This is definitely more of a fall/winter scent and can be used for either formal or casual occasions depending on how it wears on you. yes to clubbing, socializing, events, restaurants, bars, dates, romancing, sex, office, picnics, weaddings, movies, birthday gift.The scent begins with top notes of green notes and lemon followed by middle notes of cedar and spice. If you exclude its alcoholic opening (where I can smell nothing for around 5 minutes) then beautiful Iris, rich vanilla, spicy pepper and cardamom. I've tried all of the L'Homme and La Nuit De L'Homme flankers over the years, and this holds its own against any of them - Bleu Electrique included. This is definitely more masculine and I'm not tempted to wear it myself, but it smells very sexy on him.
I don't get any La Nuit, The One EDP, Valentino Uomo Intense, Dior Homme (any of them), none of that. Probably I would like this fragrance to lean more to the YSL or CH direction, or even to an independent direction with a boozier and darker twist. The sillage is moderate to big, although this isnt saying much since I feel bad for anybody who has to smell this stuff. Its just a shame that I'm not aboard this hype train because I wanted to like this also by the notes.It's like a softer version of Code Profumo, so if you liked Profumo's scent but thought it was too loud, this one is for you. After a few minutes, vanilla, cardamom and iris begin to make their entrance, achieving a soft aroma, something sweet, pleasant for most people.
